WHO ARE WE?

OUR STORY

Starting as a hypothetical idea from an entrepreneurship program, our product has attracted and gained the approval of many nurses, nursing facilities, and Electronic Health Record Systems. Now, we want to bring this idea into fruition. With an amazing and dedicated team, we plan on helping millions of people around the world eventually.

OUR VISION

Our goal here at med-alert is save lives. We have the potential to protect people's health. Currently, an army of dedicated nurses are on the frontlines against Covid-19. In many ways, nurses are the unsung heroes of this pandemic and Med-Alert wants to help them save American lives by making their life easier, ultimately helping millions of patients globally.

TECHNOLOGY

We also consulted with two engineers to develop a system design for med-alert and integrate with EHRs for patient data. Because we are handling sensitive medical information, we will backup all patient data, include an encryption decryption mechanism, and implement software to monitor data transfer, to make sure breaches and data leaks are avoided. By running through AWS, we can accomplish all of this cost-effectively.
